A new councilman and three incumbents were sworn in to serve four-year terms in Bedford Borough on Monday night.

Bedford Borough Council approved a 2022 spending plan that does not include a tax increase during its meeting Tuesday night.

Bedford Borough council approved a its 2021 spending plan with an 8% property tax increase during its final meeting of the year Tuesday evening. It also approved a change to its ordinances to permit property owners to operate bed and breakfast locations in all residential zones.
