Ellwood City Borough Council on Monday renewed the agreement with John DiBuono to serve as director of the Ellwood City Area Family Center.

Rensa Filtration, a manufacturer and distributor of mission critical air filtration products, announced recently that it has acquired several businesses that provide distribution, sales and service of air filters to commercial and industrial customers.

Ellwood City Borough Council unanimously approved some of the municipality’s annual events during its regular meeting Tuesday.

John DiBuono said he grew up a block away from the Ellwood Area Family Center, attending events and practices there as he got older in school.

The Ellwood City Area Family Center has a new director and will reopen Oct. 1.
