An Erie County technician working to disable one EMS radio by using a code inadvertently took out all of the radios in the county making for a busy evening at the 911 Center.

Erie County officials say there are steps the public should follow if 911 services are attacked in the future.

A deactivated wireless device called Erie County 911 around 750 times, crippling dispatchers ability to field emergency calls for almost two hours.
