Dr. Raynaldo Ortiz has been found guilty of injecting dangerous drugs into IV bags at the Baylor Scott & White Surgicare in North Dallas.

The fate of a doctor accused of secretly putting poison into IV bags is now in the hands of a jury.

Jack Alderstein, 19, pictured in his hospital bed, testified on Wednesday in the trial of Dr. Ortiz, pictured right, who is accused of poisoning the IV bags of several patients.

"I thought I was going to die," said one of the witnesses. Ortiz is accused of poisoning IV bags with dangerous drugs.

A 19-year-old survivor of an alleged tainted IV bag during surgery testified Wednesday that he thought he was going to die.
