An impressive field of teams await the Razorbacks as they compete in the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational hosted by the University of Florida this Friday and Saturday, April 12-13.

The Razorbacks host their first outdoor meet of the season with the Arkansas Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 6, at John McDonnell Field.

The University of Arkansas mens and womens track and field teams will have their last major competition before the SEC Indoor Championships in two weeks when the Razorbacks host Tyson Invitational this weekend.

Jordan Anthony’s debut with the Razorback track and field team had him finishing third in the 60m final with a time of 6.62, equal No. 3 on the Arkansas all-time list, on the second day of the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.

A portion of the No. 4 Arkansas Razorbacks will compete in the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on Friday and Saturday in the Albuquerque Convention Center. The fourth meet of the season for the Razorbacks will see Wayne Pinnock opening in the long jump while also including the debut of transfer Jordan Anthony in the 60m.

SEC honors were awarded to a pair of Razorbacks this week with Romaine Beckford named Field Athlete of the Week while John Kendricks earned Freshman of the Week.

FAYETTEVILLE -- If the Razorback Invitational is an indication, the University of Arkansas mens team is going to score big points in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships.

Following a familiar pattern to last year’s national championship campaign, Arkansas is No. 4 this week in the USTFCCCA men’s national rating index after starting at No. 41 a week ago.

Arkansas transfer Jack Turner led a 1-2-3-4 Hog finish in the heptathlon on the second day of the Razorback Invitational as he improved his career best to a score of 6,000 points at Randal Tyson Track Center.

This weekend’s Razorback Invitational features an impressive field of 16 teams competing inside the Randal Tyson Track Center on Friday and Saturday. Five of the schools entered currently rank among the top 10 national ratings in the early indoor season.
