John Kleinig's new book "God's Word: A Guide to Holy Scripture" will kindle or rekindle your love of the Bible. "I do not intend to set out an argument to prove anything about the Bible as God's written word, let alone explain its divine nature and inspiration," Kleinig writes. J. G. Hamann's "London Writings," his spiritual and theological journals, has been compared to Augustine's Confessions as an account of a great mind coming to Christ. Last year John Kleinig came out with the first English translation of this important work.  The hardcover edition was kind of pricey, but the book is now available on Kindle at a very reasonable price.
