A piece of land in Leander, Texas, is going to be turned into a development for businesses.

FGS has selected Lexington Exchange in California, Maryland as the site for expansion space and intends to place approximately 15 employees at the 140-acre mixed-use business community this spring.

A joint venture between St. John Properties and Greenebaum Enterprises has acquired a 12.5-acre site in Laurel, Md., with plans to develop two single-story flex/R&D buildings totaling 68,160 square feet.

The property will be demolished and redeveloped into a mixed-use business and retail space, its Baltimore-based owner said.

St. John Properties has acquired an 82-acre parcel in Waldorf, Md., with plans to develop a 12-building business park called Berry Pointe.

In the first phase to finish next summer, the developer is constructing three buildings.

The final plan includes 14 buildings that will support more than 2,000 jobs in Broomfield.

Floor & Décor, a retailer specializing in hard-surface flooring, has picked Glen Burnie, Md., as the site for its second location in the greater Baltimore region.

Hyper Kidz, an indoor playground concept, has selected Waugh Chapel Business Park as the site for its third location in the greater Baltimore metropolitan region and first in Anne Arundel County.

St. John Properties, a Baltimore-based developer, has acquired a 17-acre parcel in Cockeysville, Md., with plans to build the Hunt Valley Exchange, a speculative commercial development with flex, office and retail components.
