Three men were found guilty of murder and arson after a family of four was killed nearly seven years ago in Kitsap County.

Detectives asserted the killings were about “drugs and money."

A jury has found three men guilty of killing a family in Washington in 2017, crimes detectives asserted happened over drugs and money.

One of Kitsap County's most horrific homicide cases has come to a close, as a jury found three men guilty of murdering a family of four "execution-style" back in 2017.

A defense attorney called a neighbor's testimony from the night of the murders into question, while a former dealer spoke about cocaine distribution.

Two of the four parties involved in the trial have delivered opening statements, and proceedings are expected to resume on Monday.

Prosecutors in Kitsap County have dropped secondary charges for three men accused of murdering a family of four.

A Kitsap County judge ordered three suspects accused in the 2017 murders of the Careaga family be held without bail after their first court appearance Tuesday. Detectives say the motive in this case revolves around drugs, money and personal conflicts.
