Jet Hill is staking his claim as the top three-year-old trotting colt in the Buckeye state. The son of What The Hill won for the third time in Ohio Sires Stakes action Tuesday (July 4) at Eldorado Scioto Downs.

John Dutton erased a 4-1/2-length deficit with a first-over move and captured his third straight victory in Wednesday’s (March 29) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,600 Conditioned Trot.

Beth Dutton angled off the cones through the final turn and brushed home to capture Wednesday’s (March 15) $11,000 second leg of the Donna Dunn Memorial at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. The championship leg of the series for three- and four-year old pacing fillies and mares is set for Wednesday, March 22.

It was a night to be a favourite in the opening leg of Ohio Sires Stakes action for two-year-old colt and gelding trotters.  John Dutton, Rumble Strips and Black Magic were winners in the three divisions at MGM Northfield Park Monday night. 

Heart On My Sleeve stalked Remember The Beach from the pocket, then blew by him in the lane to capture Friday’s $10,000 second leg of the Wilbur Zendt Memorial Pace for three- and four-year-old horses, colts and geldings at The Meadows. With a win and a second in the two preliminary legs, Heart On My Sleeve assured himself a spot in the $15,000-added championship on March 19.
