CHELMSFORD — Chelmsford High School’s Leaders in Motion Everywhere club raised more than $5,000 at its annual 24-Hour Relay on Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, to benefit various school and community causes.

Heavy rains held off long enough Tuesday morning for possibly thousands of spectators to line North Street for Chelmford’s annual Independence Day parade. 

Increasing demand for light and power, a downtown fire, inviting Ivan the Terrible for Christmas and more were reported on this day in Johnson City history.
