It was all Republicans in Lawrence County, where there were no contested Democratic races this election season.

The board closed 2021s meeting schedule by discussing services provided to the town over the past month, as well as improvements set for 2022.

As of Monday night, the ordinance now states that grass, weeds or rank vegetation must be cleared from both a residents lawn and their sidewalk.

In a 4-1 vote, the Oolitic Town Council struck down a request from Michael Coryea to rezone the property at 602 Hoosier Avenue.
