Rodney, an 11-month-old pet emu, escaped his home in Suffolk in the middle of the night on Thursday and went out on an adventure of his own. He was rescued about a mile away from home.

An emu escaped his enclosure in Chedburgh, Suffolk leading to a five hour search mission involving his owner, the police and the RSPCA.
