The pickleball craze continues and is headed to Salem as officials just made an exciting announcement.

Not only are more pickleball courts coming to the Moyer sports complex in Salem, which is building thirteen of them where the skateboard park was - but so is "Picklebrawl," a tournament in September expected to attract up to 450 players from the Mid-Atlantic region. After interviewing more than a dozen indoor club operators, owners, and franchisors, some distinct business strategy patterns emerged that will drive the industry going forward.

“I think we have what you would call competitor’s anxiety, like a football player would feel in the locker room. We have a great game plan and just want to start the dang game,” co-owner Jon Laaser said.
