Town’s U18s lost 3-1 in a friendly to Crystal Palace at a bitterly cold Playford Road on Saturday morning. Tom Winter’s first-half strike was cancelled out by three second-half Palace goals after a raft of Town substitutions at the break.

Republic of Ireland U16 international midfielder Jon Leddy scored for the Town U18s as they drew 1-1 in a friendly with Luton at Playford Road this afternoon.

Towns U18s secured a point with a 2-2 draw at Reading on Saturday morning with the goals coming from Carel Tiofack (pictured) and Jidé Maduako.

Town’s U18s comfortably beat Colchester United 4-1 at Playford Road on Wednesday morning. A brace from Carel Tiofack plus one each from Jidé Maduako (pictured) and Jon Leddy put the young Blues in a commanding position before a late strike from Gus Mufuta reduced the deficit.

Towns U18s started their pre-season fixtures with a 5-3 victory over Leyton Orient at Playford Road on Tuesday afternoon with Caolan Lavery, Jack Simmons (2), Jack Marriott and Nicolay Schrøder (pictured) netting the goals.

Towns U18s comfortably beat Barnet 3-1 at Bent Lane on Saturday morning with two goals from Jon Leddy and one from Jack Marriott, while Ryan Battista netted for the Bees.
