In July 2022, Evan Leonard lost his life to a fentanyl overdose. At the time, he believed he was taking cocaine. The man who allegedly sold Evan the laced drug has been charged with second-degree murder and a felony delivery of a controlled substance. As his family waits for justice, they hope no other parent experiences this heartache.

Matt Mills on Friday’s Race at Texas Motor Speedway: “This Niece Motorsports group has shown a lot of speed in it’s mile-and-a-half program this season, so I’m looking forward to getting on track in Texas in our J.F. Electric/Utilitra Chevrolet,” said Mills.

Matt Mills and the No. 42 team showed speed in practice, posting the seventh quickest lap. Qualifying left the team with a 25th-place starting spot for Friday night’s race at the track known as the ‘paper clip’.
