Rio Vista Police Chief Jon Mazer confirmed that officers from his department took a 57-year-old man into custody after the body of his mother was discovered in a Trilogy home on May 13.

The man police say was behind the wheel at the time of a quadruple fatal accident in Rio Vista last week was arrested earlier this year on charges of DUI.
