A Montreal man was sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges in relation to four murders in 2016.

A Montreal man with ties to Montreal Mafia has pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges two weeks before he was set to go on trial for the murders of four men in 2016.

Jonathan Massari admitted he plotted to kill Lorenzo Giordano and Rocco Sollecito, leaders in the Rizzuto organization, and admitted to being part of the conspiracy to murder Vincenzo and Giuseppe Falduto.

The man who killed Rocco Sollecito became an informant for the Sûreté du Québec in 2019 and is testifying in the trial of Jonathan Massari, who is accused of having a role in four murders.

Jonathan Massari is charged with four murders carried out in 2016 during an internal conflict within the Montreal Mafia.

The Crown contends Jonathan Massari carried out the hits to prove his loyalty to the boss of the Calabrian clan.
