A Plantation homeowner is appealing to city council after his home was hit by cars not once, twice, but three times.

After years of residents urging the city to do something about cars crashing into their homes and yards, Plantation plans to spend about $98,000 to build a guardrail along a 600-foot stretch of North Nob Hill Road.

“I had to make a quick decision to go get them before the storm hit,” said Kongiganak Search and Rescue member Roderick Phillip. “I don't know if they would have survived a second storm.”
