Joseph Dames News Today

There were multiple fatalities from a tornado that ripped through the small Iowa town of Greenfield, which saw homes and businesses destroyed.

WCCO meteorologist Joseph Dames says Saturday will bring a slow-rolling march eastward for rainmakers. Most of the day will be dry in the Twin Cities, but eventually -- likely after sunset -- the rain should still move in.

The National Weather Service says that over the past seven decades, we've only seen between five and 10 years with this much snow water on the ground.

WCCO meteorologist Joseph Dames says that there should be an increase in winds by late in the day, running out of the south.

What exactly is happening with the University of Minnesota's medical facilities and how much is it going to cost taxpayers?

Temperatures will warm up throughout the day on Saturday, making it a perfect day to head outside.

Joseph Dames joined the WCCO team during the winter of 2022. He is currently the weekend morning meteorologist. You can also catch him putting together weather, science, and other environmental stories during the week.
