BSP to cut gold assaying/processing fees

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will soon reduce the assaying and refining fees for its gold purchases to attract more small scale miners to sell to the central bank instead of going to the black market. The BSP’s assay fees and refining charges have not been updated for the last 30 years.
