Joseph Schany photo by Joseph Schany The Iowa Girls Coaches Association (IGCA) released the 2020-21 All-District basketball teams on Friday, naming Emmetsburg senior Abbie Schany among the select athletes representing Northwest Iowa in Class 2A. Schany, the daughter of B.J. and Jill Schany of Emmetsburg, recently wrapped up her senior season in Hartley following the Class 2A Regional Championship matchup against Rock Valley. Schany put up 370 points during the 2020-21 season and scored an impressive 1,103 total career points as a Lady E-Hawk. Her aggressive run on the court also netted 128 rebounds and 44 steals as a senior.
