The Butler County Sheriff’s Office has been reduced to seven certified law enforcement officials after the firing of former sheriff’s Deputy Christopher M. Harris on Oct. 12. Butler County Sheriff Thomas Dion verified to the Telegram that Harris had been terminated, with the mandatory ‘Personal Change-in-Status’ form filed with the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center on Oct. 13.
