DISABLED drivers are set to be handed refunds after being hit with parking fines following a “machine glitch” at a Canvey shopping centre. Blue badge holders will be receiving refunds from Smart Parking after “machine errors” at the Knightswick car park caused fines to be issued. The move comes after Rebecca Harris, MP for Castle Point, stepped in this week.
