After three years of construction at Plaza St-Hubert and two more years of COVID-19 restrictions, the owners of the Two Horses hair salon thought it was time to spruce up the exterior of their shop with a window painting. But much to manager Julia Grecos surprise, that painting would be met with nearly $1,000 in fees from the city.

Julia Greco has had a very eventful last year, to say the least. On top of being a Penn State student and fulfilling other responsibilities, she served as Penn State Homecoming’s 2020 executive director for the world’s largest student-run parade. Now, she gets to satisfy another accomplishment. But this time, it’s for the world’s largest student-run philanthropy.
