Wmur s Kristen Carosa tells us what made this rescue so difficult. Kristen this is where the car came crashing in. It landed in the woods on top of trees, making it very hard to pull the people out of the car to safety. Firefighters are calling this one of the most extensive extrications they have ever had to perform. EVESHAM’S independent cinema has received a huge cash boost which the owners say will help ‘secure the venue’s future’ following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The Regal Cinema on Port Street has been allocated £197, 917 which has been administered by the British Film Institute (BFI) from the second round of funding provided by the government’s Culture Recovery Fund. The cinema was previously awarded £142,225 from the first round of government funding earlier this year.
