Actors Theatre of Little Rock, a new professional theater group, billing itself as "home for fearless works" that will produce "boundary-breaking theater" with "substantial community partnerships," hits the "stage" with "Bard @ the Bar: A Midsummer Nights Dream," 7 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Rail Yard in Little Rock.

With creative support from New Georges and Clubbed Thumb, playwrights Justice Hehir, Dena Igusti, Phanésia Pharel, Nia Akilah Robinson, and Julia Specht release THE WISH, a free, downloadable play meant to spark conversation and protest in the wake of the Supreme Court's draft opinion against Roe v. Wade and increasing numbers of statewide bans.
