St. Elizabeth's Wright rebounds from disappointment to win Class 1 boys pole vault state championship
St. Elizabeth’s Kade Wright experienced the lowest of lows last season at districts. He experienced the highest of highs Saturday at the Class 1 track and field state championships. One year after missing his opening height at districts, Wright finished his road to redemption by winning a title in the boys pole vault at the state championships at Adkins Stadium, clearing a height of 13 feet, 5¼ inches.
