Researchers gave beer and wine to 90 students and asked them to say when they believed they were over the drink-drive limit.

Researchers asked 90 people to drink beer or wine or both and speak up when they thought they were over the limit. The experiment found up to 53 per cent wrongly believed they were safe to drive.
