High schoolers across Ontario are lobbying their school boards and the province for a “freeze” on grades for the remainder of this Omicron-interrupted semester after some boards said final marks wouldnt fall further than where they were at the end of last year.

After another term plagued with absenteeism, remote learning disruptions and the stresses of isolation, some students in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board are calling for a freeze on marks before end-of-semester exams and assignments.
