For the first time since the 2018 season, the West De Pere football team is heading to the WIAA state title game.

No. 3-seeded West De Pere football team handily took down top-seeded River Falls 38-6 in a WIAA Division 2 matchup.

The River Falls football team ran into a buzzsaw in its Level 3 playoff game against West De Pere Friday night at David Smith Stadium.

West De Pere scored on its first seven possessions of the game and its opportune defense created three turnovers vs. Holmen in a 56-7 win.
