Over 500 vaccinated on second day No report of side effects The New Nation

A total of 541 people were vaccinated on the 2nd day of the vaccination programme in the capital.
Among the vaccine recipients, most were health care professionals.
They were vaccinated from the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Kurmitola General Hospital, Mugda General Hospital and Kuwait Maitree Hospital.
Dr. Kanak Kanti Barua, Vice Chancellor (VC) of BSMMU, has taken the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. It is my social and personal responsibility at this. People will get confidence and courage, said the VC after receiving jab.

The Covid-19 vaccination programme began at five hospitals in the the capital on Thursday morning.
DGHS sources said around 400-500 front liners will be given the vaccine at Kurmitola General Hospital, Mugda General Hospital, Kuwait-Bangladesh Maitree Govt Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University today.
The vaccine receivers will remain under observation for seven days to see whether they show any side effect, they said.

ICT minister, health secretary receive Covid-19 vaccine
State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak and health secretary Abdul Mannan received Covid-19 vaccine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital on Thursday.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque was present in the spot when Health Secretary received the vaccine.
Earlier in the morning, the Covid-19 vaccination programme began at five hospitals in the the capital.

As many as 541 people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in five hospitals in Dhaka on Thursday after 26 people were inoculated on the first day of the mass immunisation campaign in Bangladesh.
