Circuit Judge Steve Henderson sentenced 24-year-old Carlos Jones II to life in prison after a Brevard County Jury convicted him for Second-Degree murder in the shooting death of 23-year-old Sha'Dayla Johnson in 2022.

A Brevard County Jury found 37-year-old Paul James Newman guilty on one felony count of Lewd or Lascivious Battery on a Child, in connection to an incident at his Palm Bay home in September of 2019.
