The Court allowed Deputy CM DK Shivakumar to withdraw a plea against the CBI after being informed that the Congress-led State government has withdrawn consent granted by the earlier regime for a CBI probe.
The Court made the observation while quashing an FIR alleging that there was a conspiracy behind the filing of sexual assault cases against Dr. Shivamurthy Muruga Sarana, the Pontiff of Sri Murugharajendra Bruhanmata.
Justice SG Pandit made it clear that the High Court's October 10 interim order lifting the suspension of TheLiverDoc X account would continue till the trial court finally decides the matter.
