This years event will be at Brocks Gap Brewery in the Trace Crossings community.

There were 249 runners and walkers registered for the sixth annual Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue 5K Meow-A-Thon 5k and 1-mile Whisker Walk on Saturday.

There also will be a 1-mile Whisker Walk the same day.

Veterans Park in Hoover will host a different walk or run every Saturday during the month of May.
