Is that still your position . If we can make them advance prior to the election day, we will. If we can after the election day we will. Its totally irrelevant. No one entity, no one law, no one anything is going to solve the challenge of creating a Food Environment and landscape that makes it easier, makes it not just easier, makes it easy to eat healthy. So its going to take the work of everybody and it is taking the work of everybody. But ultimately, we are a part of that, and so i think ultimately the Health Outcomes and obesity rates, theres a lot of other indicators that we are looking at to see are we on track, are we making progress. And those are things we look at a lot of the consumption patterns, things like fruits, vegetables consumption, water consumption just this last year regain the number one spot for the first time in decades as the most consumed drink, which is a big deal and really indicative of a shift thats under way. Of user fruits and vegetable consumption was up in a year given the economy we were not expecting that. We are seeing those kinds of ships, restaurants or sing shifts about what is being sold on their menus.
Will resonate with this group, testing the messages that we had with tested and found to be successful with young participants, these are the ones parents, these are the ones that actually resonated with them. And also they added some ideas about what they felt would help. Clarity. They dont want things that are, the messages are unclear. They want specifics, and they want clarity. They wanted something applicable to their own lives and something that they find motivational. They want something that is very positive. They dont want to be told dont do, dont do, dont do, because i think thats an environment they grew up in. They want a goal that they can achieve, and they want it to be short ask to the point. And i dont think this is just millennials, i think were all going there. I think thats the way we communicate in general. So the two messages that we found to be the most successful about helping them to eat healthfully is fun stuff counts. They like it short, they like encouragemen
Yeah. Its a good question and something we think a lot about. I think, to fall. Part of visits institutionalizing it but also, so weve done that through harder ships with different agencies. Lets move childcare, a partnership between hhs. When you have those kind of partnerships it adds that infrastructure and we tried to do that in a number of different places. But also its about and working to have the issues transcend us and helped to spark action and activity and engagement in ways that are going to take off that we are not actually doing. And a lot of that is in the way we approach different partnerships. But also just the cultural aspect of it. Thats why you see the first lady really trying to take this issue to where people are as a post asking people to come to us. Thats why she is on jimmy fallon and doing the dougie and all the stuff. Its important to present it and help bring this in a fund engaging way that can take off, that miami heat they do what she dont on lebron and t
