Greenville’s 988 call center is the only one serving the state of South Carolina. They take about 100 calls each day, but many other calls are picked up in other states.

Lander University gave college students across the upstate a chance to learn important skills that could make all the difference.

It has been two months since the launch of 988, the new three-digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
