OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - An Owensboro High School student is heading to the Ivy League.
OHS senior Kaysia Harrington has been accepted into Harvard University.
She had a perfect 4.0 GPA and scored 5 on every AP exam she’s taken, which is the highest score possible.
She was elected OHS’s student body president and spends her free time volunteering at the Western Academy.
Kaysia says she believes it’s a reflection of what happens when schools invest in communities that don’t normally get invested in.
