Walk in town, at park: Ozark Hill Hikers invite all walkers to join two walks. There is a $4 fee for each walk. A walk will be held Tuesday, May 21 in Bella Vista. Registration is from 8:30 to 9 a.m. at CVS Pharmacy, 2833 Bella Vista Way.

Long distance backpacker David Eddy of Russellville will talk today about backpacking the Ouachita Trail, Ozark Highlands Trail, Appalachian Trail and others during the April meeting of the Ozark Society. The public is welcome. Ozark Society membership isnt necessary. The meeting is at First Presbyterian Church, 695 E. Calvin St. in Fayetteville. Social time is 6 to 7 p.m. Eddys program is at 7 p.m. following any announcements.
