TRADERS have welcomed improvements to Weymouth harbourside after more than half a year of work and investment of £1.8 million.

A HARBOURSIDE café is unable to reopen after a blaze which destroyed the room next door caused smoke damage to the walls. The owner of Custom House Café planned to reopen next week but has had to abandon his plans after a fire broke out in the laundry room next door, which has caused smoke damage to the café walls.
