The City of Monroe concluded a multi-year project Monday with the adoption of a naming policy for such things as city streets and parks.

The garden space resulted from a La-Z-Boy Foundation grant to fund youth art projects in the Monroe community.

If approved by Monroe City Council, the policy would include an online application process for location naming and name change requests.
