Law firm Updike, Kelly & Spellacy is trading one downtown Hartford address for another.
The firm, which has five offices throughout the state, is moving its headquarters from the current location at 100 Pearl St. into Goodwin Square, where it will occupy a slightly smaller space.
Updike leases 25,000 square feet in its Pearl Street location but will lease 18,000 in its new home on the 20th floor at Goodwin Sqaure on Asylum Street.
John Alissi, firm president, said Updike’s current lease expires Jan. 31, 2022.

With the growth and popularity of craft beers over the past decade, McCormack saw an opportunity but was also looking to differentiate his business.

“I wanted to do something unique,” said McCormack, 29, “so we [are opening] a combined café and brewery.”
WeHa Brewing & Roasting Co. slated to open in early summer in the Elmwood section of West Hartford will include a tap room, private event space and roasting room with artisanal coffee.
