Big blackfish are caught off the North Fork and the west end, stripers continue to feed on bunker and sand eels out front, and freshwater fishing picks up in the creeks and ponds.

Insane striper blitzes continue along the entire south shore, and double-digit tautog are caught from Brooklyn to Orient.

Striped bass have inundated south shore beaches from east to west, albies blitz in the eastern Sound and tautog fishing is good off the north fork and the west end.

Stripers continue to push west around Montauk Point, the eastern Sound gives up quality tautog, and more sand eels move in along south shore beaches.

The eastern Sound gives up double-digit tog, sand eels and bunker attract big bass on the west end, and the Canyons are fishing well for bluefin and yellowfin tuna.
