KANKAKEE — A Kankakee man was arrested for a shooting in Kankakee County on Sunday night. Alexis Calderon, 19, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee County sheriff’s police. He was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. A judge set his bond at $50,000. PEMBROKE TOWNSHIP — Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle fatal accident that occurred Tuesday in Pembroke Township. Dianne L. Skinner, 56, of Remington, Ind., was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:55 p.m., Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner said. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
