DICKINSON — After serving on the Stark County Commission for 20 years, Ken Zander announced his forthcoming retirement last year. In an exclusive interview, he sat down with The Dickinson Press to reflect on his public service career on the commission and some of the accomplishments he is most proud of.

Paul Clarys defeated incumbent Carla Arthaud 55.7% to 44%, with 8,396 votes counted at the time of publication.

DICKINSON — The Stark County Commission denied a request to fund the Dickinson Public Library's expansion project at the regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 1.

Commissioner Ken Zander addressed the issue with The Press, calling the accusations of malfeasance by Commissioner Carla Arthaud slanderous. Zander provided information, receipts and a policy manual that supports his view.
