Kenlee Wallace News Today

It's been almost four months since a former Kirksville teenager, with a huge heart, sadly passed away in an UTV crash.

Before the start of the Kirksville varsity volleyball game on Thursday, the team took some time to honor a former friend and teammate.

In honor of the birthday of a local girl who passed away, donations are being accepted at locations around town for products that will be donated to the Adair County Humane Society. Kenlee Wallace, who would have turned 16 on Aug. 5, was known, according to friends and family, for her kind and giving soul and her support of local charities.

“She was possibly the brightest ray of sunshine I have ever known,” a loved one said.
