Just last month Killarney announced that is set to become one of the first towns in Ireland to stop using disposable coffee cups and just weeks after their plans came into action they are garnering success.

Coffee cup litter in town and national park prompted coffee shops and hotels to take action

Almost 50 businesses in Killarney have signed up to become completely free of single use coffee cups in a bid to make the town the first in Ireland to move to reusable coffee cups.
