Screengrab from South Korean show falsely claims 'comedian ridiculed president's vegetable gaffe'

Screengrabs of a South Korean comedy programme were altered to falsely claim it showed a satire of President Yoon Suk Yeol's comments on the price of spring onions during a visit to a supermarket in March 2024. The show in the false claim was aired in July 2020 -- years before Yoon's visit -- and did not make reference to his remarks. The false claim surfaced ahead of the country's legislative election on April 10, 2024.
