Slain herders’ cattle found dead in Zangon Kataf

Troops of Operation Safe Haven have discovered 10 dead cows in Mabuhu village, Zangon Kataf local government area.
Samuel Aruwan ,Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State,said the dead cattle belonged to the two herders whose corpses were found in the area on Tuesday.
It would be recalled that the corpses of two herders, Yusuf Ahmadu and Mustapha Bako were found in the village, after they took their cattle out to graze and then went missing. Some of the cattle were later seen wandering unattended, bearing gunshot wounds.

Terrorists have killed about 10 persons in Zangon Kataf and Chikun local councils of Kaduna State, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, stated yesterday.
While stating that search and rescue missions had begun in the troubled areas, Aruwan added that the injured had been taken to hospital for treatment.
In Zangon Kataf, Kurmin Gandu village was attacked by armed men and five persons identified as Ishaya Aboi, Regina Ishaya, Goodluck Dauda, Joseph Adamu and Hassan Joseph were reportedly killed. x
The commissioner added that 10 houses, two motorcycles and 50 bags of ginger were set ablaze in the local council by the bandits.

Gunmen, on Monday, invaded three villages in Zango Kataf and Chikun Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, killing at least ten persons in the bloody attack.
According to Samuel Aruwan, the Kaduna State Commissioner for internal Security and Home Affairs, the bandits attacked Kurmin Gandu village in Zango Kataf local government and killed five people.
The assailants also burnt down ten houses, two motorcycles, and 50 bags of ginger, while some dry season farmers lost water pumping machines and other valuables around the Zango Urban general area.
Security agencies, according to Aruwan, reported that armed bandits attacked Sabon Gayan and Ungwan Turai villages in Chikun local government area and killed five persons.
