Kyle Bertsch, 39, is being held on a $5 million bond for the shooting and immediate aftermath in Windsor’s jurisdiction, and another $3 million in Severance’s jurisdiction for later leading police on the chase and brandishing his weapon at police, according to Colorado court records.

Bertsch is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, 195 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a maroon 2017 Ford F-350 pickup with Colorado license plate ARD 833, according to a Windsor Police Department news release.
