BERRYVILLE — It likely will be more than a year before All Points Broadband (APB) can provide rural Clarke County households high-speed internet, largely because of factors beyond its control.

One supervisor expressed concern about the potential for exorbitant connection costs to newer households with underground utilities because All Points only guarantees an aerial connection for $199.

Brandon Davis, executive director of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission, admits that the project to install broadband in Rockingham County’s unserved areas has been “quite the endeavor.”
